2020 marks the 62nd year that the Charlevoix Waterfront Art Fair has been bringing fine art to our community. The Waterfront Art Fair is the second oldest juried art fair in Michigan. The Charlevoix Council for the Arts (a non-profit organization) was formed to develop year-round community participation in the arts. Our goal is to provide inspiration and opportunity for aspiring young local artists and to foster appreciation of the arts.
The Charlevoix Waterfront Art Fair through its tandem organization, the Charlevoix Council for the Arts (a non-profit organization), is dedicated to providing arts awareness opportunities for our children and the community of Charlevoix. These opportunities include: awarding scholarships for art and music camps, initiating education programs and workshops in our schools, hosting performances and concerts, and generally promoting and supporting overall aspects of the creative arts. We take pride in our efforts and are grateful for the many dedicated members and volunteers who make our success a reality.
